BRACELET TUTORIAL NO FURTHER A MYSTERY

Just wondering if I’m adding the crimp also early, In case the crimp is just too smaller, if it’s much too sharp for the elastic, or if I merely attempted within the bracelet way too early (it hadn’t been 24 hrs still)… any strategies? I’ve built 24 bracelets and wish to make sure I’m not making a critical error before moving forward! T
